The HMS Discovery floats in Dundee, near the Tay Bridge. While everyone else was into the Discovery, I went for a walk to try to get images of the Bridge. I'm not particularly "into" ships, I guess. Bridges, on the other hand... And this isn't exactly an obscure bridge. And I hadn't really warmed to the group yet.
So I walked a bit down the river, where I saw the Tay Bridge. It's very long and narrow. Hard to get a picture of the whole thing. But I could see the stumps of the previous/original bridge, still standing where they were when the original bridge went over.
Note that the next two pictures are from the same original image. It's just that the second of them hasn't been scaled down to fit, and it's cropped differently.
After a while, and because I had no watch, I felt I should come back and take a look at the ship. So I went through the museum quickly to get to the ship, and took pictures aboard.
